Indian Days is a fringed cotton throw in a single layer tapestry design, reproducing a design by Wilfred Langdon Kihn.
A painter and illustrator, Wilfred Kihn (1898-1957) developed a lifelong passion for documenting the customs and culture of North America's First Nations. In 1933, CPR took advantage of Kihn's striking colors and strong sense of composition to help promote Indian Days in Banff, which was a yearly celebration of the skills and games of Canada's First Nations.
